Editing the texture for this wristwatch in GIMP?

Can I use the free image editing program GIMP to edit the texture to this wristwatch in order cut and paste an actual watchface onto it?

Which one of these texture files would I have to edit?

Well, it's always best to look at them before deciding which one is what. At a wild guess, I'm guessing the hud one, since the others sound like generic metal textures. But since I'm no clairvgoyant, beats me if it really is that or the author misnamed them or what.

That said, sure, you can edit texture files in GIMP. You just need the plugin to read and write dds files. Google usually has no trouble finding it.

You might want to generate a mask in NifSkope first to know where the face goes, since by the looks of that pic, it might not be clear at all.

Apparently there are texture files in this mod called HUD which includes a watch face, but they are not included onto the actual watch itself when the mod is used.

Perhaps this is a bug and someone here could help me troubleshoot it?
