Osiris597 Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Hey there me and another guy are starting a TC mod for Oblivion and are in need of some very talented help. We need more or less everything and everything again if we want to be completed by the time TES7 arrives. It is 2 new lands being Kramenclaw that you can get a boat to from the IC docks(about time they got some use) and in Kramenclaw there shall be a portal or ship to yet another land which i hope to be a replica of the Far East with Ninjas, Samurais etc. and i want to try and implement the stunning landscape and views of China into the game. Kramenclaw will have:A huge marketplace with stalls and patrolling guardsNot sure how but we want to make it so that you can get onto rooftops and have battles and fire at people with arrows from there although much scripting and talent will very likely be needed for that one.We have a few spells already in the pipeline one being that you can use an attack that turns the enemy into ice and breaks them into peices leaving behind like a bag or sack with their things in it(this will be a racial ability usable once a day) The Far East will have:Ninjas with alot of different clans hopefully with unique tattoos,weapons and fighting styles and they will assassinate each others leaders etc if we can make it happen.Samurai.Stunning visuals and landscapes We need: Interior designersExterior designersRemodelersSkilled CS usersWorldbuildersCitybuildersConcept artistsArchitectural artisitsSketchersLore know-it-allsMusic makersTestersSomeone to deal with public affairsAnd we really need our website sorted.......im crap to be honest Please do leave a post and any help is very very very greatly appreciated The link to our site is at the bottom of the page below my sig. Heck, you might even be better off waiting till TES V is released before starting just because of all the things you want which aren't exactly possible in the current game. Also, this isn't a TC, it's an addition... As for lore people, why? What you already have is pretty much against lore. I'm sure you already know how difficult it is to get anyone interested in working on a mod project, let alone a project which requires this much work, hasn't been planned out well, isn't being made by a group of people already established in the community, and requiring so many custom elements to just make it playable, so I won't bring it up. You might however want to mention what your role in all this is, what you've already done, how many people, and who you already have, and what their skills are. A big project like this won't get done if there aren't dedicated people who are actually capable of doing the work, before you turn to the communities for any additional help. You can't expect people within any community to do more than 20-40% of the work, and even that is high. If you personally don't have the understanding to do most of the project, how do you expect to plan out who does what, and how? This is the reason why many large projects fall apart, although they can recruit people, either the leader doesn't understand how to do enough of the project ahead of time, and they run into issues, or they end up waiting for other people to complete resources and areas, which never get done. Team LeaderTristan: The main guy who is the main person when it comes to using the cs : Im not sure who exactly this guy is but i do know this guy is a brilliant scripter And yes i do know how difficult is it : VERY! The 3 of us are dedicating all our spare time to this mod and really want to make it happen but for this we really need help. Progress wise we have the buildings for the Alchemist and Hunter guild and also have a large alchemist garden.We already have a spell or 2 and once all is tested i will release and let you all see how things are going. Dont worry,i know what im doing and hopefully if we get a lrage enough team built up then any waiting times may decrease a bit. shadowace Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 Ross dang, I told you to wait until I finished more on it. Anyways yeah I'm like working non-stop. I know not everything he wants is possible, and he is changing a lot of my original ideas. Anyways I can do this myself if I need to, but it'll take a lot longer then I expect it to. I'm putting work into three different mods and each one is coming out well. I'll probably finish my third mod first as it is the smallest at quickest to do. That should show you what I am capable of, and the second one which I've been working on for some time now should come along shortly after that. Right now I'm just looking for someone who can make custom meshes. I can texture and re-texture most all items.
