I'm sorry in advance for putting this question here, but I find there is really no place more specific to handle this very minor issue. The problem is when I use console commands I find myself unable to scroll up or down with the page up and down keys. I have tried with my number lock key on and off in conjunction with shift, alt tab and any other number of utility keys available. This makes things difficult when I am trying to research hex for odd things like actors and such. I can of course see the last three items on any list, however that's not very efficient. lol Is there a ini function that I have not heard of to assign these keys to that function? I run on a laptop using windows 7, is that the issue? I did not download the game via steam as I bought the cd, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I have used Google and all but cannot seem to find an answer. Please if anyone could help point me in the right direction I would be grateful! Thank you all in advance! blc1973 Posted December 4, 2011 Author Share Posted December 4, 2011 Thanks for the help sir. I'm not explaining the problem correctly and for that I'm sorry. When I type something like;" help salt 1 ", then there is a list that pops up on the bottom half of the screen containing item codes for all things with the name salt in them. I am supposed to be able to hit "page up or page down" in order to see what the item numbers are. In many cases there are more than four number codes, and there in lies the problem. I can't scroll up too see what the numbers are for some reason. I only get to see the last four of any list. I was wondering if there was an alternate key binding to that function of the console command menu. The arrows that you mentioned work fine for things I personally have imputed into the console command. I just can't see all the info the pc gives me when I request a help search. Anyway I thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. I'm sorry once again for my ignorance. lol I'm pretty new at this and have little experience messing with such things but am eager to learn. I'm thinking I'll have to just deal with this until perhaps some other folks have the same issue. Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time too look into this for me. I appreciate the effort! But I recently had to buy a new keyboard because quite a bit of my keys (Mainly, the left side of the number pad, the arrow keys, delete/insert) stopped working altogether. That said, I'm glad I'm not having any serious problems with the game. I should just pie-hole it and not whine about something as minor as this. khbazur Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 Not sure if this is viable but try using a usb keypad that have pgup/pgdown keys. The laptop keyboard might be the culprit.
