Modders: Something to think about.

Past couple weeks I've tried a few different mods to do with magic and spells and blacksmithing. I have tried a few of the mods that have a huge amount of spell changes in them and even a few blacksmithing ones.

Ultimately I discarded most.

The problem is the modders make changes to the game some of which are fine and others are maybe a little OP. The game has enough balance problems.

If you're making a mod consider this:

Make a mod on a Per spell or at least Per spell school basis. This way people can use the spell or spells they want to change and leave the rest out.

Same with crafting.

I found it great at first to make arrows, but then I realised the mod for blacksmithing I was using also allowed me to create nightingale armor for 3 leather and 2 leather strips and an ingot - Totally not useful.

On the other hand I did download and install the mod that made candlelight 10 minutes instead of 1 minute, awesome spell change - makes it WAY more useful when trying to find your sword after being disarmed ;)
