Kibido
Ok, I can stand the crappy prehistoric pixelated 8-bit shadows, but what is this?! 1, 2, 3, 4. It's like a damn texture that shadows everything and keeps following me! It advances just as I do and it's just annoying. I tried various tweaks but the only one that works (not much) is setting iShadowMapResolution to 2048, but unfortunately this makes my game stutter. Does anybody have a solution without losing performance? It would be much appreciated. Damn trolling shadows.
alividlife
Could be wayyy off here, but try setting Anti-aliasing to 2 samples or just off. You will probably still get some grid-lines but it will be less noticeable.
scruples
Yeah, you are a bit off since AA just makes jaggies less apparent.Increase your ShadowMapBias value in your skyrimprefs file.

Anyway I increased shadow distance, and even though shadows now look even ****tier than before it has fixed my issue with no performance decrease. Thank you for the help, both.
