Assistance learning how to create custom weapons from scratch using 3DSmax. Looking for a "mentor"

I can make models and hack apart nifs to make "new" weapons all day long, make static objects and clubs avec collisions NP, but I would REALLY love to be able to export from 3DS2013 a 92% working gun, just a few tweaks in Nifskope and im gtg. Anyone willing to help me out? Also very interested in learning more about Armors and how to edit bones and paint weights for such, and Papyrus, too of course.
