Jakeo
Well I've finished the main quest and all of the guild quests, and many OH many of the side quests and now I'm just wondering what to do...I'm kind of OP with maxed block/onehand/heavyarmor + full daedric with nice magicka regen stats + magic resistance and damage resistance effects (stone)...Total armour rating of around 800... I'm now level 47 Difficulty has been on Master since I started November 11 Midnight...(yes I have gone slow...since I have a job that takes up most of my time) What exactly is there to do after exploring everywhere and not really needing new gear... I'm a bit disappointed. The game's environment is beautiful and I loved exploring but Oblivion and Morrowind held me so much more entertained, even after I'd done everything. I'm going to finish more quests as they come but any suggestions besides starting a new character? Maybe I'm just missing something obvious :D Cheers all :)
HoovesDerpy
Really, whenever I finish everything I can on one character I play the game with a different type of character and play a different role. Maybe you've done everything you can on that character, maybe it's time for a new one (sorry for going against the only thing you asked for us not to do). capnfnx
I feel the same on second character, just to do DB. I guess get a job at the mill and settle down to the good life, at least until DLC or CK quest mods.
Selvec
No suggestions. Essentially you've clocked the game. You'll never do every single quest in the game, as the Radiant Storytelling will keep making up more basic quest types. Like "Go here, kill this" or "Take this, give it to him" etc etc. So your pretty much at end game.
capnfnx
It is rather immersion breaking being the baddest dude in the world reduced to an errand boy.
AZRainman
The variable to play is on your end now in regards to making something new. I started out with the typical Conan type and now trying the sneaky archer. January is said to be when the Creation Kit comes out, and with that more new quests. Despite what I said previously... I've started a new character - mainly a Warrior/Healer Hybrid, focusing on wards as a means of counteracting Magic/Dragon fire (because seriously, 1.2 patch screwed my magic resistance so hard on my main character). First time using restoration and alteration magic heavily...So far its working okay, I'm leaving the main quest for last (for better leveled rewards). Although I do love being able to negate a lot of the dragon shout damage from dragons with the wards and then quick-switching to shield and beating the living hell out of it... Thanks all...I suppose there's a lot of people who've also clocked the game completely... Poor Markus, my main vampire warrior, shall have to retire to his Brotherhood Abode and contemplate his next quest...or perhaps he will settle down... :) Edited December 4, 2011 by Jakeo

ShadowscaleB1980
I'm saving the Dark brotherhood and thieves guild quests for my next character. I wiped out the DB with my first character and when I'm finished with him i'm going to join them.

Sure, its difficult if you dont use smithing/enchanting but otherwise you are OP. With some mods to balance out the game and bring some different levelling/combat mechanics...well it should be good. Till then I think I'll just focus all my time on my now lvl 47 (finally maxed out twohanded)...and getting better equips. I only have base daedric but I would like some nice defensive enchants (don't have any unlocked except magic resistance which is uber bugged.)
