TPRammus
Hey! The last time I played Fallout: NV was like 2011 - but I played it only halfway through. So I would like to play it again, but this time I want to see and do as much as I can.I browsed a little bit through the Fallout: NV mods but I would like to hear your personal favourites (it doesn't matter if it is a fairly unknown mod). Do you guys recommend me to use the 'no karma loss for stealing' mod? And what do you think about the 'no worldborders' mod?General tips are welcome too!Thank you  regards, TPRammus EDIT: And what do you think is the limit for how many mods I should add (I guess at some point the game will be pretty laggy). dubiousintent
Even though you've played before, the community has learned a lot since 2011. Really suggest you read the wiki article "FNV General Mod Use Advice". The plugin limit (and ways around it) is in there. Among other things the STEP "Fear and Loathing" Guide it links to has a good list of recommended mods. You want the "best experience", then that is the way to go. Following it I've had zero serious problems from day one, with over 325 hours into the game. Karma has little impact on the game. But if you are a packrat like me and gather up everything you come across, the karma loss for stealing is just annoying. Speaking for myself, I don't play to be annoyed. I just use the console to reset my karma into "neutral" when I need to. OTOH, "worldborders" exist because the developers had to stop somewhere. You will start falling though the landscape and getting into vast areas of emptiness when you push the boundaries. When you add a mod that needs to have the borders disabled, it will tell you how. Otherwise I suggest you just turn off clipping (console "tcl") when you want to risk pushing through somewhere, or toggle on the "free camera mode" (console "tfc") to fly around and check instead. -Dubious- Edited September 14, 2016 by dubiousintent
VinnyOcean24
i usually play as all factions and even just go solo. Their are tons of mods that add more battles more quests new worlds etc But my favorite play through is usually an ncr because i loved the stories of the original fallout games hence why alot of people prefer new vegas' story. So my favorites would be dragon skin tatical armors, warzones, nv bounties, A world of pain, Project nevada and anything else that adds realism to the game for hardcore
Ladez
JSawyer is essential for me. It's a personal mod made by the project director of the game. Consider it an unofficial director's cut. Highly recommended. View the full changes and download the mod here: http://fallout.gamepedia.com/JSawyer Other than that my general recommendations are the unofficial patch (YUP), and the anti crash (NVAC) and stutter remover plugins for NVSE. Karma is both broken and useless in New Vegas, mod it away if you want. Removing invisible walls is kind of pointless though, unless you're the type that goes out of your way to climb stuff. I can confidently tell you that there's nothing of interest on the other side.
