chad4471 Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 Im running on vista x64 bit(just in case) ok so heres my problemi installed skyrim in E:\ProgramFiles\Elder Scrolls V SkyrimRather than the default foldernow i go to my install folder and go to data to merge the mods i downloaded and come to find no meshes or texture folders WTFso i looked in the place the moders here tell me to go to Steam folder\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\except no such directory exist on my comp yes i tried unhideing all my folder to look for itso where the f*** is my data folder???? As the Mesh and Texture folders are not needed until you start installing mods, they do not exist in the vanilla data folder. Either you can create the folders yourself, or if using an unzipping program like 7-zip or winrar, they will create them as needed IF you install the mod by unzipping directly into the data folder, AND the mod is packaged properly to allow this. If you do create them, the mods will automatically use them as long as you create them in the proper place.
