Skyrim - Mod Detectives Thread

Does anyone know of a mod that improves the brightness of nighteye and vampire's sight? If so is it also compatiable with ENBs?

Lol this is one of the very few times when I can recommend my mod :P

Thanks DarkAngel13, but I wasn't looking to add any potions or spells to the game, just a way to modifiy the night eye and vampire sight so i can actually see in game while using my enb and realistic lighting.

Unless I've gone crazy, I distinctly remember the existence of a mod that made Skyrim's river rapids more dangerous to try and swim through. Non of my search attempts have helped me find it so if anyone here knows of the mod and it's location, I would be very greatfull for your assistance :)

looking for a mod that will fix this land on water lod problem and invisible water lod bug. anyone have some suggestions.

switching to ugrid 7 doesnt fix the problem it just extends it out further away. instead of that land being there in other areas the water will be invisible and i can see the ground under it from far away.

No leveled lists have been changed, therefore there is nothing that this mod is affecting other then the Night eye effect. There are no scripts of any kind. So it is perfectly safe to use. At the end of the day it is your choice ;)

Which mod puts "Blessings of paladin" in the game (can be found on starter items)? I can't find it and I'd like to remove this mod...

Open console using `. it is the key next to Key 1. Type in

help "blessed steel sword", hit enter. You will beg a IDcode XXYYYYY where XX is the number of the mod that add the item.

Then just run NMM or Wrye bash and find the esp file name and if you are using Wrye bash or NMM you know what to uninstall.

But make sure you have the right one because there is one in original game that scares undead. Your sword ID will not start with 00.

If you think you have found the right one add it into your inventory so you are sure. Player.additem XXYYYYY 1 If you have the right one you will now have 2 in your inventory :wink:

I followed your instructions and it turned out the culprit was "Be A Better Mage with Unique Spells" mod. Thanks :)

Our Wars in Skyrim had a plugin like that. As the project is dead (for the moment till I find some help) the only mod I can think of that has similar effect is Pure Waters by Laast. Water do not become dangerous but more difficult to swim in. Also it is mine and Gophers favorite water mod so yeah. Try is out ;)

I am not entirely sure what is happening with your game but I am going to say that it is bad Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. Erase or relocate both. Check the integrity of the game cache. Update to the latest version. Start the game and let it detect your CPU. Go into Skyrim.ini change the ugrids back to 7 and launch the game if you still have this problem come back.

Also what water mod are you using if any? Try to install Pure Waters by Laast. And see if the problem is fixed if not I think I know what it is so PM me cause the explanation will be longer and this is Mod detective thread not troubleshooting ;)

sorry last night i figured out the bug it was because i had reflections disabled. so now i renabled them in prefs and uses ini to disable what i wanted out of reflections

I'm trying t find a good mod the adds spells from Oblivion and Morrowind into Skyrim, as well as a mod that adds touch spells that were in previous games.
