Skyrim - Mod Detectives Thread

Does anyone know about mods that add minor little items into Helgen? I remember there being things like a group of barrels in the first room in the keep you enter on the imperial side that contain things like a bow, and other miscellaneous items throughout the tutorial. I've transferred computers and had to redownload all my mods, but I can't for the life of me remember what mod has those little extras.

 

Any help?

Hello again dear modders forum once more and dear detectives, it's nice to be back onto this place for i have come forth with a problem, a problem of finding something, a animation replacer for two handed warhammers and sorts, it hugely displeases me with the rather agressive stance of the warhammer...

But to the point, I find the pose a little too agressive, not much relaxed pose to it and how it's held... even when running, for me it looks wrong, in reality i would not like to carry a hammer with both my hands backwards all the time, it's a battle stance yes... but it seems tiring, I was hoping to find a mod that would replace the animation to more something like this

And yes, that's space marine but that's the closes thing i could find, as searching for the pose came up with nothing, so i took a screenshot in the game of the idle but unsheated war hammer

like you can see, if i where to carry something big, i'd like to rather hold it relaxed in one hand and it would seem more natural for traveling, walking with it just hanging there in your right hand's grasp... or left, whatever fits the animation best.

So, yeah, you get the idea... Thanks for the help and excuse my grammar, never been the best with that.

1. Anybody know of a mod that fixes the Blade Barrier perk in SkyRe?

2. Are there any mods that fill in weapons tiers in SkyRe? Like how Nodachis go iron, steel, Daedric, and Glaives go Elven, Orcish, Ebony, Daedric?

Hello, and btw, it's really awesome that you offer this service! I haven't been using mods very long for Skyrim, and I'm really glad to find a place where I can ask questions about things.

 

On that note, I'm looking for a mod that adds a buildable patch of land somewhere in the Riverwood/Whiterun/Etc area. Or just some info on how to do it myself. On that note, it doesn't have to be purchaseable (I wouldn't mind getting the land for free), it does have to be buildable (I don't want a ready made house), but if any mod exists that adds a plot of land with a burned down shack or something and then you can rebuild a house there, that would be AMAZING and add a great backstory for my character! Anyway, as I said, I'd prefer it in that area, and I can't seem to find any place that isn't already built. No offense to the great people who build houses, but I want to play a character who makes EVERYTHING herself. > :D

been trying to look for those nails also for my vampires looked but no luck on google or nexus ....went around the game looking for that mapboard for screenshots and couldnt find it either is that a MOD or is that map in game?

Hello. I just built a new rig and am re-installing all of the Skyrim mods I had. While doing a google search for Boss and Wyre Bash I saw a link for something called Mod Organizer, Is this for real? The page had a link to a page on the Nexus but because it was through a 3rd party site I don't trust it. Also when I do a search of mods on Nexus it only shows a video guide for Mod Organizer. Is this mod for real and is it something people would recommend? IF so where can I find it?

Mod Organizer is definitely good mod manager.. with lot of functions but for someone who's used to Nexus Mod Manager it could be a bit overwhelming... depends what are you expecting - if to keep it simple and easy, then stick with Nexus Mod Manager.. MO or Wrye Bash use if you need total control...

I'm looking for combat mod that would increase realism. I mean that one or too swings would be deadly not only to me but to AI too (not for all creatures ofc), atm increasing difficulty it makes only longer to kill, and this annoying when playing stealth way or encountering pack of enemies.

For now im using skyre overhaul.
