Death Penalty and Wagon Travel

Hello Guys,

i have found no fast travel as a very nice option to enhance the gameplay experience.

But i don`t know why Wagon travelling isn`t actually used for a more imemrsive experience.

My Ideas to enhance this:

 

-when you take a ride from the wagon, after you step in theres the map where you could see how you travel aorund the map.

-then; you could implement Random encounters, like bandits on the streets stpping the wagon

-furthermore, companions should be able to hop in the wagon and other NP`s should be in the wagon also at times.

 

THe second Idea regards to Player Death. Some People play with DiD Rules for themselves, but not everyone who is looking for a heart pounding experience wants to delete his char after death.

My Ideas to make Combat more frightening and the game more immersive by that: a death penalty.

An Example could be:

-you get etheral, you have to get to a shrine, and afterwards you get a Experience penalty ( Say, -10 % to all skills. Just an example though . Lore wise : you offer some of your lifeforce to the gods, so they push you back to life.)

 

 

TL; DR: - More non fast travel immersion in regards to wagon travelling + a death penalty system.
