Deleted477949User
Hey guys. Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this? http://orig12.deviantart.net/8ad8/f/2016/259/d/e/20160916002241_1_by_the_rotton_core-dahtouo.jpg I've been working on getting custom PA working in the game for a week or so now. It now displays my mesh. At first the mesh was purple (indicating missing texture) so I copied a material node from a vanilla .nif into my own and set it to my own material. Now it displays like this. I didn't have any trouble like this setting up normal armour. Just wondering if this is an issue with the nif, the setup in the CS or what. Really clueless here. EmissaryOfWind
Check the node colors on your nif, this can be caused by the nodes themselves being black.
Deleted477949User
Cheers man. The only thing I could see that was black was the emissive colour. When I changed that to white the mesh just showed up as solid white. So we may be on the right track but still missing something.
Deleted15964729User
I have had similar results when working late and mistakingly save a diffuse as specular or normal and vice versa. If it started when you pointed it to a material maybe you have the _d _s _n in the wrong field of the material file, again something I also done when I should be sleep instead of modding :)
Deleted477949User
I think that was the case. I can't be sure but I basically wound up re-exporting from blender and setting it all up from the beginning again. It's working fine now.
