Looking for some help regarding this, I'm creating a Mage Rebalance mod which gets rid of the -magicka cost % enchants and replaces them with the Alchemical potency effects. I've been successful replacing the effect on existing items, however when trying to apply the effects at an enchanting table, they don't take. Has anyone tried something similar? It's easy enough to replace the EFID on existing items but I'm not sure if the core MGEF enchant effect can be edited until the creation kit comes out? I'm very new and this is the first time I've dug in to the .esm to mod, so the hexing and values and their meanings are all very new, however if a brave, more knowledgeable soul can point this blind man in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated. General goals of the mod are: restore magicka as a managed resource at high levels of mage play.compensate by increasing spell potency via enchanting, making enchanting as useful to mages as it is to other classes.enable 100% of magicka regeneration during combat, so it is a more useful stat.Change novice through master school perks in the destruction school to increase damage as well as reduce magicka requirements.
