Can't find Arngeir

I returned to High Hrothgar to ask Arngeir about more Shouts, but the dude just isn't there. I checked the entire building, I checked the courtyard, I checked the tower, he's missing. What do I do?

Usually he's outside for me, when I can't find him.

 

Hm.. try some console stuff like.. movetoplayer or something?

I've found him in the top of the tower, just before the barrier to the mountain top before now..

I know people often find him there, but he wasn't there for me. Now I just used the console and it transported me to the inside of the temple, wuuuut. Oh well, at least he's there now.

I usually find him on the circle just inside the main doors. If he isnt there I just wait an hour. They all move around a lot thats for sure.

Hey.. What console command did you use?? I can't find him at all.. Even with detect life it only shows three of them.. I have also checked outside and tried "moveto 000886b3".. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated..

 

Edit: Whoops got it.. Forgot the "player.moveto" for some strange reason he was at the bottom of the mountain..

He's hard to find sometimes. I go there a lot to get new words and I will always find the other three Greybeards first before finding him. I'll have to try that console cheat myself. I can spend a lot of time running around looking for that guy.

Frankly, I use it quite often to find him because he has the terrible habit of wandering off and making me run all over Hrothgar looking for him.
