Hazardousbio
Have you noticed how creatures are scaled on your level? Do you like not fighting a deathclaw upon your exit on Vault 101? Have you ever wanted weapons to function a similar way? Now they do! My project which shall be known as Deviation acts this way. All F3 weapons will be similar to Borderland's weapons! Jeoshua
He means that in addition to more powerful weapons being found as you get higher level (as happens now), that the weapons themselves will become more and more powerful as you level up, ABOVE AND BEYOND your skills increasing. I'd say that this seems really interesting, but great care would have to be taken to ensure that a good balance is struck. This is likely to become much more of an overhaul than you know, Hazardousbio. Characters already get absurdly powerful without weapons scaling in power based on your level. tshultze
if i may make a suggestion on how you might base your damage per lvl-up perhaps they could be based off your core skills e.g. A melee weapons dmg increases because of a strength increase and increase in melee skill. where as a sniper would increase based off of your perception (to know where to hit and see it on the body) and your big-guns skill etc...
