Kas17
Anytime I hit New it loads for a while then eventually crashes to desktop. I thought it might be the intro video so I downloaded a save that is placed right after the intro video, tried continuing and loading from there, but it did not work. I have tried many of the quick fixes, such as the common sound fix, tried the Skyrim4GB mod, and another performance mod. Nothing has been working at all. For anyone that can help here are the basic specs for my computer: (If you need anymore info just ask) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bitSystem: TOSHIBA Satellite C650Processor: Intel Pentinum CPU P6200 @ 2.13 gHz (2 CPUs)Memory: 4096MB RAMDirectX Version: DirectX 11 Display DeviceName: Intel HD GraphicsTotal Memory: 1696MBDriver Version: 8.15.10.2189 -Any advice or ideas would be very much appreciated, any if anybody would like any more information about my system, just ask and I'll respond asap. Cornpipe
I'm not saying for sure that this is your problem, but you may have a mod installed that has a dependency that is being loaded after it or not at all. You should be able to view and edit the load order in the plugins.txt file located at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt A number of other things could be causing this issue as well. Corrupt files, incorrect .ini files, conflicting files that load with TESV.exe, etc. A good old fashioned re-install should clear things up. Thanks for the reply, but I doubt this could be the issue as I only began installing mods AFTER these problems were occurring. But, I might try a re-install anyways, I'll edit this if I solve the issue, otherwise any more ideas would be awesome.
