GhostFangTaken
I'm pretty good in nifskope and blender but I'm stumped. I can't figure out how to attach a wing mesh to a wing animation. Could someone please tell me. (I hope it isn't something really simple and stupid and I have been overlooking it) Thanks in advance.
ninja_lord666
You don't attach meshes to animations; you attach animations to meshes. Also, the new mesh has to have the exact same skeleton as the original mesh that the animation is from.
GhostFangTaken
Ok, this is what I did. I am an Avenged Sevenfold fan and just for the heck of it (I don't know if i was going to release it) I took a imp, deleted the imp and left the wings, then I took a skull, placed it where I wanted it, highlighted it all and exported it as .nif + animation (in blender). It doesnt have an animation in nifskope. What did I do wrong??
ninja_lord666
Woah, woah, woah. That is not going to work at all. Like I said, the animated object needs the same skeleton. There are two things you can do: make new animations for the new model, or keep the imp, but make the body invisible and add the skull. I'm not sure if that last one will work, but it's worth a shot.
