Rigga2000
Hello everyone, I purchased Fallout: New Vegas several days ago with hopes of modding to my heart's content. My dreams were then shattered by my absolute lack of knowledge regarding mods and the modding process. These last few days have been an uphill battle with getting a couple dozen mods to work. After all this time, reinstalling my game 3 times and loading a fresh save each time. I cannot get these mods to work. Currently the prevalent issue is an "Out of Memory" error that causes my game to freeze. So I am going to break down my current situation, in hopes that someone far more experienced than I can shed some light on the situation. My Computer Specs:-Geforce GTX 1060 6GB-Intel Core i5-6600k CPU @3.5ghz-16GB DDR4-2400 RAM-Windows 10 Home 64 BitI also have an SSD and an HDD, however I only use the SSD for essential programs such as Windows, so I store things like New Vegas in my HDD.It should also be worth noting that I am running the Ultimate Edition, which I purchased from Steam.I use Nexus Mod Manager for my mods, mostly our of laziness, but based on the fact that I can't get my game to run all these mods it might be more than just that. That being said there are a select few mods or mod-related programs that I installed manually, and I can say with the utmost confidence that these have all been installed properly:-New Vegas Script Extender-Fallout New Vegas 4GB Enabler-DarNified UI NV (technically also added to NMMHere is a list of all the mods I have installed and activated currently:-New Vegas Stutter Remover-NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash-Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP-Fallout 3 Dogmeat - Dogmeat-The Storyteller Companion - Official Mod of the Shoddycast-Unlimited Followers Everywhere-Centered 3rd Person Camera-Electro-City - Relighting the Wasteland-Nevada Skies - Weather Effects - Brighter Nights-Nevada Skies - Weather Effects - Colorful Stars-Nevada Skies - Weather Effects - Nevada Skies-Nevada Skies - Weather Effects - URLIFIED Interiors-The Strip Open-A Familiar Friend - Pipboy 2500 - Handheld Pipboy-Camouflage Remnants Armor Retex-Clean-Deluxe NV-EVE - Essential Visual Enhancements-Fallout Character Overhaul-Mojave Sandy Desert-NMC's Texture Pack for New Vegas Medium Pack - Part 1-NMC's Texture Pack for New Vegas Medium Pack - Part 2-Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - Main File - Performance-Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - Less Damaged Roads - Performance-Ojo Bueno Texture Pack - Vending Machine Update - Performance-DUINVv04 (DarNified UI NV)-UIO - User Interface OrganizerLastly, here is the load order for my game's plugins:00-FalloutNV.esm01-TribalPack.esm02-MercenaryPack.esm03-ClassicPack.esm04-CaravanPack.esm05-DeadMoney.esm06-HonestHearts.esm07-OldWorldBlues.esm08-LonesomeRoad.esm09-GunRunnersArsenal.esm0A-YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm0B-ELECTRO-CITY - Completed Workorders.esm0C-ELECTRO-CITY - Highways and Byways.esm0D-Nevada Skies.esm0E-NVStripOpen.esm0F-Clean-Deluxe FNV.esm10-FCOMaster.esm11-YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esm12-Dogmeat.esp13-Storyteller.esp14-DLCCompanions_1_3.esp15-Centered 3rd Person Camera - Unraised.esp16-NevadaSkies - Brighter Nights.esp17-NevadaSkies - URLIFIED Interiors.esp18-NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition.esp19-StripOpenMap.esp1A-pipboy2500_edisleado.esp1B-Clean-Deluxe FNV - DeadMoney.esp1C-Clean-Deluxe FNV - HonestHearts.esp1D-Clean-Deluxe FNV - LonesomeRoad.esp1E-Clean-Deluxe FNV - OldWorldBlues.esp1F-Clean-Deluxe FNV Merge - All DLC.esp20-Clean-Deluxe FNV.esp21-EVE-FNV - ALL DLC.esp22-FCO - GlowingOne.esp23-FCO - NPC Changes.esp24-FCO - OHSB NPC Edits.esp25-NukaCola-Ojo.esp26-The Mod Configuration Menu.esp27-DarNifiedUINV.espThis is all the information I can think of that at the moment would be of assistance. If you are reading this and have any help you could provide, I would greatly appreciate it. I wouldn't have spent all this time typing up this topic just to unnecessarily take up space on the forums. I have spent many hours trying to find a solution, 9 hours in-game just testing mods and their compatibility. Hopefully someone will stumble upon this thread, provide some valuable assistance, and teach me something about modding in the process.Thank you very much for your time. Purr4me
I'll discuss this setup with you, you need to provide me with what is found in a "plugin.txt file" located at C:\users\(username)\apps\local\falloutNewvegas\Plugin.txt "content" shown in there. Of the data you have posted thus far show content conflicts abundantly so, duplicated overwritten data..a lot of it.The load order is incorrect as well. IF either here is that load order? but the main game runs from the location I indicate here.

RoyBatterian
The load order of the crap packs doesn't matter since they just inject records into FalloutNV.esm If you are going to use clean deluxe, remove the individual DLC esp's, and just use the all dlc one. This really isn't a good mod to use anyways, it will cause crashing with other mods. If you have enabled the heap replacement in new vegas stutter remover, turn it back off by setting it to 0, it's bugged and causes out of memory crashes. Also turn off bHookLightCriticalSections by setting it to 0.The sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover.ini will be found in the Data\NVSE\Plugins folder, where you have Fallout New Vegas installed. Be sure to turn off "Hide Known Filetypes" in your windows folders options so that .ini files show up correctly in explorer. Open your fallout.ini *and* fallout_prefs.ini, these are located in the Documents\My Games\FalloutNV folder find the line bPreemptivelyUnloadCells and set it to 1 in both inisfind the line bSelectivePurgeUnusedOnFastTravel and set it to 1 in both inis Be sure you are running the game through the FNV4GB launcher every time you play. This should solve your out of memory issues.
dubiousintent
In addition to the specific help Kitty Black is providing, suggest you also read the wiki article "FNV General Mod Use Advice". It should help you avoid many of the early pitfalls FNV mod users encounter. -Dubious-
RoyBatterian
Hey dubious can you make some kind of guide for using FNV4GB from NMM, I refuse to install that piece of crap so I don't know if it has any option to launch it.
dubiousintent
I don't use it either, but I'll see what I can research up on it. I imagine the process is similar for all third-party tools, so it would be useful in general. -Dubious-
dubiousintent
Hey dubious can you make some kind of guide for using FNV4GB from NMM, I refuse to install that piece of crap so I don't know if it has any option to launch it. Added it to the "First Timer" sub-topic in "FNV General Mod Use Advice" in the "Maximizing use of memory" sub-section where I talk about FNV4GB. -Dubious- Edited September 19, 2016 by dubiousintent
RoyBatterian
Thanks dubious. Might want to add the ini settings I mentioned above as the first solution for solving OOM errors due to textures, to avoid the issues that ENB presents users when using FNV4GB and also having to disable water transparency and MSAA. Problems also solved via PM. Enjoy your stay in Fabulous New Vegas.
