Mechanist Armor with Bodyslide

Hello,

 

I hope someone can help me with my problem.

I love the mechanist since fallout 3. but the new armor is a bit shitty.

 

I use bodyslide studio to edit the shoes like I want them, but I don't know how to make a belt.

I've saw some mods where parts of other armors get splitted off,

so my first idea was to split the strange metal ring on the left side of the armor and create a belt out of it.

but I don't know how to split things off.

 

If someone has an better idea how to create a good belt please let me know, love you all <3
