Something is critically wrong with my game

Extreme lag (1-2 FPS) in seemingly random places like Markarth or Valtheim Towers

That's a bad thing, and it indicates incorrect data some where that is scripted and running in those cells, they fire on entry. each cell when that occurs is shaped like a giant qube. the trick is finding the walls to that qube. we have the Ck available to isolate those. what you can do is load all of those mods up into it. if it stabilizes? you can minimize it and read the editor log it makes, in there it will in fact tell you exactly what is doing what. what is failing, what is being ignored.

 

IF the machine exhibits this issue with just the raw game and it Just started recently? it might be the hard ware / drive is failing OR is getting too hot to handle the loads your placing on it. It will seem like bad code. But it's just heat !

give me few moments, I will load up just the main game files and DLC's plus the Usleep mod and see whats up in those two places in the CK.

if you own something you can use to cool down the system with, do so and run the game. be careful if you want to freeze it some what. A lap top does not take kindly to water so you can for 5 minutes place IT into the freezer and pull it out, fire it up and proceed into those locations...if the problem does not show it's self with in 10 minutes, the problem will be heat build up, but if the problem shows up Immediate, it's mod data.

You're joking. Or a troll. I have 27 or so mods, please go away if you're going to be useless.

You don't have dedicated graphics, as far as I can tell. So the cpu has to do graphics processing plus all the other things the cpu does in the game. Do you have the problems if you disable SexLab and Aroused? Those are both script intensive and that requires cpu power.

 

Also 4gigs of RAM is just not enough tbqh

I made a test patch for this area for you. might fix the problem, might not, but ifa scripted event from some mod is the cause, this might over rule it.
