Krutz
Hardcore meters stop increasing in real time. If I wait or sleep they increase, but while I'm actually playing they are idle. I have tried turning Hardcore Mode off and on, doesn't work. Edited December 5, 2011 by Krutz

Krutz
What other mods are you running with your game? Primary Needs Hud (puts hud for hardcore meter)New Vegas Redesigned (changes npc facial appearance)Centered 3rd Person Camera (self explanatory)Sprint Mod (self explanatory)Better Binoculars High (better zoom)GARU (gives companions unlimited ammo)ELECTRO-CITY - Imaginator (graphical and lighting adjustments) RadRecipes (recipes for radaway & rad-x) By the way, I have been using these mods for atleast 20 hours of gameplay without any complications, til now. I read on Fallout wiki that sometimes the hardcore meters freeze, but it offers no explanation how to fix it. I installed "Imps Timescale Adjuster" today, and it seemed to fix the problem, but I would rather not have to use a mod to fix this problem. But for those who are having the same problem and don't want to wait for a real solution, try this mod. Edited December 6, 2011 by Krutz
Lius
Hm i see. I was hoping you had Project Nevada running but it seems you do not. I also had the same problem a few weeks ago but fixed it by reinstalling PN. Well at least you found a temporary solution; if i find out anything, ill let you know. If I drink water it goes down to -270, like it goes below zero? Also If I load a previous save game, the hardcore meters work fine, and don't go below zero when I drink water. It's weird. I think It could be related to two or three things. The first two are things that I have done recently. 1. I used console commands to unlock the level cap.2. I got kicked out of Primm Casino for winning too much 3. I used console commands to set timescale to 6, but I did this when I first started playing New Vegas, and I have been playing for 120 hours without issues. Lius
Hm the only thing suspicious that i see is the way you set the timescale through the console. Now i dont mean i have an answer but to me; that part just seems, fishy. I highly doubt reason #2 has anything to do with it. But out those 3, #3 would be the winning suspect. Setting the timescale to default 30 got the meters moving again, but why did they stop moving after using timescale set to 6 for so long? I got rid of the the minus values of the hardcore meters by flicking hardcore mode on and off about a half dozen times. If I do set the timescale back to anything under 30, the meters stop moving again. I can set them to higher than 30, but that doesn't do me any good. I guess if I want this to work I will just have to use "Imps Timescale Adjuster" or live with the default. Lius
That i dont have the answer to. I play with PN, and PN sets the timescale at 20 i believe. Besides that one time my meters froze; i havent had any issues ;
