securitywyrm Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 There's currently a rather significant bug, one that I've seen happen twice now. Once when I watched WowCrendor's 'let's play' video, and another time when a friend of mine tried to play the introduction to Skyrim. During the initial 'flee from Helgen' mission, even before you can interact with the environment, you have to jump from the tower to the inn. If you miss, you need to backtrack to the tower and try to make the jump again, which isn't an obvious path. More often the player will spend time running back and forth trying to find a gap in the wall to get where they're supposed to. Proposed solution: Create a gap in the wall so a player who misses the jump isn't 'stuck.' Possible problems: Landing at the correct spot in the inn may trigger a scripted sequence further ahead.
