Deleted3174255User
I have a non-steam version of this game.I've got Data Files working but...when I check off "Load Loose Files" and press okay, it gets unselected the next time I open Data Files again in the launcher. If I check it off and run the game, it clearly hasn't worked. Is there an ini value to make it load loose files? I want it to work bad enough that I've tried re-installing Skyrim but nothing. registeringisforsuckers
I've yet to see a solution to this issue, as I've had it myself ever since the game launched. Doing a Nexus Forum search will show several other threads with no real solutions either. Most of my mods don't require it to be check marked, but a few do. I imagine some people must be able to keep it checkmarked, or the mods that require it wouldn't have been made and uploaded with screenshots. :D How they are keeping it checkmarked is a mystery, that none seem to want to share. thc002
no, they dont keep it check-marked, as the function still works perfectly without the check-mark. Edited December 6, 2011 by thc002
Kheldor
no, they dont keep it check-marked, as the function still works perfectly without the check-mark. I downloaded a mod to fix the 'females are dirty even with no dirt" problem, which requires this, as well as some cosmetics mods, and right now none of them work as yet. BlankDoll
I took these instructions from FAQ section of Enhanced Blood TexturesBy: dDefinder (--No "data files" option in the launcher--Open SkyrimPrefs.ini. File can be found in:...\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Find [Launcher] and add this line below it:bEnableFileSelection=1 ) It fixed my problem immediately. I hope this is what you needed!
