Moksha8088
My game crashes when I get near Monsignor Plaza, whether fast traveling or on foot. This is while I am trying to rescue some settlers for the Minute Men. What's up with that? Is there a workaround for this problem other than waiting for it to possibly be addressed by the Unofficial Patch team at some point in the future? bill8872
Just looked this one up. It should have been fixed a long time ago. Are you running the latest game version?Other wise you will have to search for the workaround on this one. damanding
For what it's worth I kept crashing near there just a few weeks ago...on the latest game version. But I'm not positive it was the same bug as the original because I found that as long as I avoided walking through a particular spot I didn't crash. I just had to walk around the crash spot. So in case it was a similar issue, have you tried walking a different path?
Moksha8088
I found a sort of workaround. I approached from a different direction and it didn't crash, but it did slow down to under one frame per second. I persevered and was finally able to get to the door. Upon entering the building, the frame rate was back to normal. There is definitely a glitch in that area, but I learned that if it seems to freeze it does not mean that it is completely frozen, but rather like Monsignor Plaza is caught in a time warp. When I exited the building time was flowing at a normal rate again. Like Jessica Rabbit, it is not really bad, it is just coded that way.
