metalfourbe
Hi ! I remember my time playing Morrowind, with a little mod that made you able to write everything you wants in books. Everytime i encountered some random stuff, funny situation or found some kind of awesome pieces of armor, i wrote it in my book. And when after Hours and hours of playing the game, you have a written memory of your journey,it's really enjoyable and totally "role play". And the best thing is when i wrote a walkthrough for a quest, like where to find some kind of item, and gave the file to a friend, who was able to follow my tips with an ingame books". I'd love to see this mod made for skyrim :) (i'm French, and i used to write english quite well, then i took .... well you know)
sosoba
Your arrow found my knee friend! I've been thinking for a week to post a similar. Skyrim lacks something that record NPC phrases an. If i want to use an immersion mod that removes all compass and quest markers thing, i have to take notes on quests (and funny things too!). Thumbs up...the knee...for this post
mjpalmer
I'd like this mod, it would be neat to have my character keep a journal, or even write "adventure logs" to keep on his bookshelves at home. or even a "murder list" every time you murder someone, you write their name in a book and write the time and location they died. if you feel like having a dark character that is >.>
Vootins
This would be most delightful.
UndeadYmerej
I had to chime in on this. I've been thinking of this for a few days. If you wanted to add to the roleplaying feel of the game you could use player-written books to add depth to your character. Journal entries to give your character a history and maybe tie him/her into existing lore in the game you might find in other books and questlines, and if you're the bardic type maybe a little poetry or song. I love the murderlist idea!!
Nosdrahcir
I'd love this, especially if you could save the item file for that book and post them for others to download. Sort of a shared creativity thing.
natilde
This would be amazing! I'd totally make a series of books detailing my adventures! I'm sure that those with the modding skill could upload a mod that would add their books to other's games. Then we'd have new reading material in our homes :D
NotCras
I would love that, and especially with the immersion, itd be the journal, but only how you keep it. finally my bookshelves could have something worthwhile in them! (im not saying the books in skyrim arent worthwhile, but once you read them, you read them and thats it.)
