Ranger Cooldown Reduction

I need help with the ranger, I'm using Extra Dog Slot, combat tweaks(among several others but these are the ones that I think might conflict). I want to reduce the cooldown of summons because it's a pain to deal with.

I'm using the mod attached to the post but I can't seem to make it work.

If you'll provide a link to the actual mod (rather than your downloaded copy, which may or may not be in violation of the Nexus TOS :ermm: ), I'll take a look at it and see if I can suss things.

 

Also, have you searched your override for files named ABI_*.GDA? ('*' being a variable; it can be anything. And the case is not important, abi_ = ABI_.) If two GDA files are trying to edit the same thing, they may be cancelling each other out. (GDApp is useful for opening GDA files for comparision, and, if necessary, resolving conflicts.)

 

And have you tried changing the precedence of the summons GDA, by placing it in a folder with a zzz_ prepend (AKA 'zzz_rangercooldown') or even in the override/toolsetexport folder?

I wasn't aware it could be a violation, really sorry about that.

 

The mod in question is Ranger Summons revised by DeepImpact I'm using an old version: "Version 05 Cooldown reduced".

 

I will try placing in a folder starting by zzz.

 

Edit: It seems it was conflicting with something, placing it last on the load order worked, thank you. I even figured which mod was conflicting and merged them ;-)

Ahhhh! Ninja'd! Glad you got things sorted! :thumbsup:

 

Just tested the mod in my game and it worked as advertised (cooldowns reduced to 5/10/15 secs). I also compared the modded GDA to a vanilla abi_base.GDA, and the only difference is the edit to cooldowns, so it's pretty straightforward. (And I pumped out this little mod earlier today as a proof-of-concept, to make certain I understood how cooldown edits work; my approach was identical to Ranger Summons Revised.)

 

I do have Extra Dog Slot installed, and the Ranger summons edits (both the Ranger Summons Revised and my similar effort) worked fine with it, so I'm inclined to rule that out as the culprit.

 

I've no idea about Combat Tweaks (used it only briefly years ago) so it may be a conflict with that, or another ABI_* GDA. *scratches head*
