I agree

* Solids = 0.85 HP & 0.15 Stamina

* Liquids = 0.85 Stamina & 0.15 HP

* Magicka = should be tied to stamina in my opinion.. energy is energy doesn't matter how you use it

------------------------

* Two hours until Regen benefits dissipate

* Five hours until regeneration deteriorates (Lower your time scales to real time)

* Twenty-Four hours until degeneration occurs instead of regeneration

==================

t = time in hours

hp = total hp

chp = current hp

degen = degen..

degen = ( t * ( hp / 72 )) + 24

chp -= degen per second

//////

When t equals 72 then it cancels the divide by 72 from the equation

In other words..

Three days until starvation simply kills you

There are most of the details I think are important, just suggestions but definitely gives incentive to use the mod and realistic repercussions which progress the longer you ignore things.

Great idea!! It would also be nice if we could add the effects of cold weather/water to the list. Also adding a portable bedroll and the ability to make small campfires. That is my biggest gripe of the game. They put us in a reaallly well done cold, nordic environnement, the visuals are spendid, often breathtaking, the ambient sound is amazing ...but.... we are ''disconnected'' from that very well done environnement simply because it doesn't affect us in any way. This is just reminding us that it's indeed only pixels on a screen... Could be, and will be, so much more once such a mod exists.

To go along with the bed rolls you should be able to set up a camp fire since you can already chop the wood. Then maybe even set up a rotary or a pot to cook some soup in. Set up the base for the fire and then light it with a torch. Just have the script only work if they are on level ground.

This is an awesome idea! Also with the portable bedroll and campfire, could you place them in less visible areas for safe sleeping, like you put out the fire before you hit the sack for higher chance of getting the well-rested bonus and being able to sleep thru the night and not being attacked in the middle of your sleep.

...Make use of the shovel and paper rolls? I bet my character is constipated by now! :P

survival, realism and hardcore mods are a must-have for me in Bethesda games. I'm disappointed that they didn't add these features when they already had them implemented in FNV.

Cold/wet would be an amazing addition to hunger/thirst/sleep but I could see how that could be complicated.

I've been checking every week to see if someones made one yet but I think it's not surprising that nerds are more interested in "female skin mods" than survival mods :confused:

Yeah, I've been checking every few days for a Hardcore mod. The game can be challenging in combat, but its still too easy to become incredibly rich and stock up on low healing, useless food items. Without cooking even adding to a skill, I feel like a hardcore mod is necessary to make some of the features more useful.

Hopefully someone makes one before I finish the game, but since I'm not even halfway done I'd like to think I'll get my chance to play the way I wanted.
