Dawn_Apex Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 Hey, I'm having an issue getting the uncompressed DDS DXT 888-8 format to work in Fallout 3. I'm saving in this format for a particular texture's normal map because I want to avoid artifacts. This thread seems to suggest that Oblivion had no problem with this format. When I do save my normal map as DXT 888-8 it doesn't show up in game at all. Does anyone know how to get this working in game? Also, my normal did have an alpha (and no, it wasn't black ;) ). I have a friend who got theirs to work in game but they forgot how they did it :-/ I'm basically out of ideas at this point. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
