martine94
The big yelllow question marks indicates that a mesh or a texture (can't remember which one)doesn't exist, When you install a mod you need to extract all of the meshes and textures to the /data folder. If that doesn't work report to the mod creator. /Marre
bben46
If you are new to mods, First read the pinned topic 'How to Install Plugins/Mods' under the General Obliivion heading. That will answer most of your questions without having to ask for each little piece. It also has some other advice on working with mods, such as back up your game, saves and data file before you start trying to install mods. It will save having to completely reinstall if something does go wrong. Then, there is another pinned topic that tells you where to find all of these files that you will be modifying. Some of them are not in the Oblivion directory, but in your documents and settings file. Then, for your first mod, find one that only needs the .esp file and no added textures, sounds or meshes. Get that one to work before trying to install another one. Sometimes I think we spend more time playing with Oblivion trying to get something to work than we do actually playing the game. Welcome to tesnexus, good luck on getting your mods to work.
