GOD_XIII Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 :confused: I'm new to modding and it seems they not doing what they're ment to be doing. everytime i go to get/buy a mod in Oblivion the item always seems to look like a massive ! mark inside a huge yellow diamond what do i do? berood001 Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 You need to tell us what mods you are using. You are definately missing a texture or mesh. Perhaps you installed it wrong because the mod seems to be working it just cant find the item information it is looking for. Are you by chance using Francesco? If so did you only download the 45MB mod file, and totally forget the giagantic 550MB file that it uses for meshes and textures? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bben46 Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 The yellow diamond with exclamation indicates a missing mesh. when you install a mod, the mesh files are supposed to go into the meshes folder in the data directory. the Textures into the texture folder, the sounds into the sound folder etc. If they don't automatically go there, you may have to put them there yourself.
