This feature will not create a new spell in "spellbook", but will cast it in realtime if you got right component-spells in both hands. The "recipes" for this might be found, or bought, or given as quest rewards. And, of course, you can find combination by yourself. Spells from separate schools of magic can also be combined, so it should provide a wide field of exploration and trials. For example:Incinerate + Fireball = Incinerate with explosion wave.Chain lightning + Soultrap = Chain lightning which traps souls if targets are killed.Conjure X + Soultrap = Conjured X which traps souls with killing blows.Any projectile spell + Chain lightning = Chain lightning's "jumping" effect to any projectile spell.Rune + Fear (or Fury, or anything else of this kind) = Makes rune with such effect.etc Opposite spells like Firebolt and Ice Spike, being combined, should burn mana with no effect.Self-targeted spells combined with damaging projectile spells should damage the caster.Also, some paradox combinations can harm caster in some bizzare way as well. Basically, there is no restriction. Just base the system on some logic and use your imagimation. I'd very much like to make this by myself, but have no idea where to begin. Pretty sure that it is impossible without CS. But even then I doubt I can manage to do something usefull. Like Fire + Ice could make Smoke, it could blind enemies and drain their stamina, via smoke inhalation. Imagine casting an ice rune while hidden, then placing a fire rune right on top of it, then throwing your voice and having a group on enemies set it off causing it to go off like a smoke bomb. Enemies are stunned, can't see properly and have suffered explosive damage as well as smoke inhalation (stamina damage) and you walk up using sneak, detect life and have a dagger equipped and dispatch them one by one. Others I'd like to see are wind/water spells. Wind would only drain stamina and stagger opponents, water could slow them down since most NPCs wear clothes under their armor, it'd make them heavier. Combine an ice rune with a water rune and you could freeze an entire group of enemies. Combine fire and wind runes and you could cause a huge explosion of fire, due to the wind fueling the fire even more. Imagine casting a wind spell called Twister and casting a fire spell on top of it to make a flaming twister that could pull enemies into it, drain their stamina and do burn damage. Another spell set I'd like to see would be Earth, could fire rocks at enemies, combined with fire you make lava and combined with water you could create swamp like areas that would drastically slow down enemies and drain their stamina at the same time. Casting water with lightning could amplify the shock damage as well as drain their magicka and stamina by 10 points per second. Casting a freeze spell on a swamp area would cause it to freeze and stop the enemy's movements but would also cause it to stop sapping their energy and they could steal attack. Something like this could be useful for keeping a dragon grounded and would allow you to get behind him. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
