Ellderon
Hey people. I know the mods tools are not out yet, so I was wondering what is possibel at this point. And it's been a while since I modded Oblivion, and I prettty much forgot everything. Sicne I got pretty ambitious plans, I decided to start by checking out what's possible, posting my ideas and asking for refreshers on how things are done. I added new areas, quests and items for Oblivion, but my mind is drawing a blank when I try to recall how I did it (except for usign the modding tool). PLANS (for starters): Adding a new houseAdding a new faction with their own hidden strongholdNew weaponry (meshes already done)New HelmetsA new Follower or twoModified ebony armor (want to change the shoulderpads and re-color it)..with a cape!Adding a new material (or should I say, a new ingot that's made by smelting several others. For simplicity sake, I can file it as a sub-set of existing materials - such as ebony - so smithing unlocks with them) So how doable is all this. And what do I need besides nifskope. Can anyone point to some tutorials?
