Malchik Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Your fame has nothing to do with it. Why set it at 7000? So you hear the rumour and talk to him and buy the house. Next you have to sleep in the house and pick up the skeletal hand as well as the journal. At this point Velwyn Benirus is not at Anvil but in the Elven Gardens District of the IC. You go and talk to him there and he agrees to return to Anvil. Now when you speak to him in Anvil again he is supposed to say something like 'he didn't expect you to show up and it's time to go and clear th house of ghosts' Have you done everything in the first part? If you have, can you let us know what dialogue you get when you try to speak to him. And killing him or anyone else is hardly likely to be the answer! WoogieMonster Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Even if you have everything, during the conversation he will still get mad and have a disposition drop, so he has to like you enough that after the drop, he still likes you.
