What happened to the Silly Level of Detail potions mod?

Addendum: If I go public again, it'll probably be as a modeler. I'm not much of a texture artist and I feel guilty modifying other people's textures or photographs for use in my mods (even if credited and even if they're free to the public). See you all."

Sounds like he got into some trouble with permissions.

I have the girly poisons, fine potions and the wine cellar mods if anyone is interested in them. >.>

I still dont get why he took them down... seems a little selfish to me. He could have left them up there and just left a note saying nothing else will be forthcoming. *shrug*

Oh well.

Totally agree with you. As for mods i'm interested in wine mod. So if you'd be so kind to share it i'd be really grateful :)

But what the reason for removing ALL stuff? I doubt there was a problems with Bethesda. Otherwise every second modder on this site would do the same.

Don't suppose anyone still has the plain glass potions?

I'm a little irked that I had these installed not an hour ago, overwrote them with another mod (which does mass clutter) with the intention of redownloading and installing SLOD's again, only to find them removed.

Sigh.

Unfortunately i got only the ceramic but it can be found on fileplanet. Though ceramic is very close to plain glass i guess.

I was just speculating, but given the second sentence of his addendum, it sounds like the most likely case. Especially if he ported a model(s), or texture(s) from another game mod, credited the original author but didn't ask permission....

As you maybe noticed the "silly level of details" mods was exactly the same in-game items just in much better quality. So i doubt that the problem was caused by those mods. I guess he got troubles with something else, but decided to remove everything just in case. Anyways this is only my opinion. Too bad that Narmix got such troubles on his back and that those mods are not available anymore. They was damn good.

Um. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He got the new textures from somewhere. The SLOD mod was hidden and "under moderation" for a time. I really wish the file moderation were public so that we'd know these things. But there's a strong suggestion that he distributed third-party textures unethically.

We can only guess now anyways.
