Roblaw85
I've managed to get hold of the following spec pc through my work (due next week) and I want to know if this will be enough to run the latest games on max settings. I've never had a gaming pc before and can't wait to get going! It's not a custom build, so I just need to work with what I have. First on my list is skyrim. I know it's not exactly new but I'm hoping this spec will be enough to run a ton of mods at high frame rate for immersion and high realism. Will I be disappointed? https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/16984302140583474350?q=acer.predator+i7+gtx960&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi-_Zj8sKrPAhVqJ8AKHQHYDuIQuC8IPg#specs
Gameville
You could run Skyrim with many mods. It would be like 40-70 fps
FMod
That's not a good build, but why look a gift horse in the mouth. It will run Skyrim with a reasonable amount of mods at good frame rates.
KJB2016
It's a pretty good system will run most new games at 1080p 60fps @ ultra/high settings, although fallout 4 may cause problems because it is unoptomized and runs like s#*! on a lot of things. Roblaw85
Really can't complain because it's free and could always upgrade in future, was just hoping it was enough not to need upgrading straight away
Signette
Well, Skyrim runs on basically any toaster atm, but some mods along with ENB may put on it's knees best modern rigs, but I don't think you'll be using them unless you showcasing. Build is really not that good, worst part is GPU, too weak, but I think you can upgrade it later. Also Win 10 Home Edition is complete crap, try to get Professional or Enterprise (even 7 or 8 Pro/Ent are better).
Lukong1515
I know this is late, but check my specs (Using Speccy) and take into account how old my PC is and the fact it is a Laptop (Cause Desktops are stronger than Laptops) Laptop ModelModel: Dell Vostro 3446, 2014CPU: Intel i3-4005U, 1.70Ghz, 2xCoreGPU: Nvidia 820M, 2GBRAM: 8GB, DDR3, 800MhzStorage: Samsung 850 EVO SSD, 500GBOS: Windows 7, 64-bit I can run Skyrim with more mods than Fallout 4, though I play at Low Settings, I don't notice Lag. This same Laptop also plays GTA5 & MGS5 as well and when were they made about 1 Year after my Laptop and I'm playing them okay. ConclusionYOUR DESKTOP'S POWER IS OVER NINE HUNDRED THOuSAND!!! :pirate: (Besides your desktop is upgradeable) Edited September 28, 2016 by Lukong1515

Running 242 mods ( no enb mod though ) at 65 - 70 fps average at high settings. So for playing a modded Skyrim you are ok. Tip. install Enboost. It will help keeping up the framerates quite much.
