Draco856
Well, it seems everyone is using Paarthurnax as a key element in dragon ally quests and I've all ready killed him, so my basic request is for a way to bring him back somehow which would repair the damaged relations with the Greybeards. Perhaps a reverse soul transfer used in the form of a shout, maybe use the Elder Scroll somehow and go back in time and tell your past self to stop, or just a simple "Reset Quest" button for it. domaik
what is done is done lol, you can't even "go back" in the quest stages with commands so this is gonna be hard....I can't think of a way this could be possible...
RudolfStassen
Or maybe they can give you the choice of not killing him in the first place. You know maybe give the choice of siding with him instead of the blades or something like that.
Draco856
Well, the quest could still have the death at the end, but maybe after some time you could find a new shout that has the capability to resurrect a slain dragon. Maybe make a new quest where once you have this shout you can go back to the Greybeards and simply use this new shout and bring him back, putting you back on good terms with them. In fantasy lore such a magic would have the risk of the user dying too, so i would not recommend such a thing... as it is basically a (godmode) cheat...The choice to side with 'partos' or to say that 'you will kill him if you have to' are much better without breaking the story... Draco856
All magic has a risk, and it would be a good way to balance it if that is what could happen. You can make the choice to kill him, then at a later date choose to bring him back at the risk of your own life, of course there's nothing stopping people from saving before using this and reloading if they fail, but it does give that small illusion of a conseuqence, or it might not kill you out right it could just hurt your skills, health, magicka, stamina, it could severely weaken you if you fail, again, the save/load problem comes up, but it's a price none the less and I'm sure people who go this route might just decide to live with it. And I agree, having an option to simply say no would be good, but for people who have chosen like me and killed him, but would like some way to bring him back, perhaps a reverse soul transfer, or maybe just not bring him back to life and instead bring him back as a ghost or something. Some kind of Necromantic ritual to bring back his soul, he doesn't have to be living, he'll still be there, just not breathing. A way to release his soul once absorbed would work, it would bring him back as a spectral dragon, but still bring him back without much risk to the character, unless he decides to attack, at which point bringing him back is a moot point.
