SniperFlood
I'm interested in making a mod that will allow a character's eyes to move independently (I.E., derp eyes) or in any way that's not straight ahead, but can't find anybody who's done anything pertaining to eye movement ANYWHERE. Is it even possible to have the eyes move in Oblivion? Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I don't really know where something like this should go. SniperFlood
i'm not sure. it might be possible.Yeah, and if you look at the character's eyes they do actually move. I'm just wondering if anybody actually know if it's possible to make them move more than the default amount or not. Unfortunately, nobody has responded wit an answer. This is a semi-bump, because I really want to know.
FragileMale
I still don't know.
DrakeTheDragon
Eye movement in Oblivion is achieved via "morphs" in the TRI files, according to the "facial animation" played at the time.If there is no morph for an eye position, then this position can't be achieved. "Arbitrary" movement is pretty much impossible... unless someone devises a comfortable way to interpolate between the different existing facial animation morphs for eyes to achieve a certain looking angle that's aimed for... still don't know if that is possible either though, or at least feasible. Somebody more knowledgeable about the topic correct me, if I'm wrong. Edited February 24, 2012 by DrakeTheDragon
