From some research done: (http://us-store.acer.com/aspire-e-laptop-e5-774g-570j) That there is what I found to match the data shown in the screen shots. This unit is a hybrid unit. According to the spec sheets, it has NO VGA ports, a thing the graphics engine requires for Fallout 4 to even set up properly in the first place. There are / is a work around for this as I have done so in the past for some one. The launcher is searching for that VGA port. And..it can't find it. It never will find it.That's the problem I found. I am currently setting up some one else's machine at the moment so this machine can't run any games as it is not intended to do that. There is an assertion about Nvidia's drivers being bad for windows 10 updates. might need to turn off windows updates and then roll back the drivers. But, due to the system and the machine? there may not be anything available for it. Except OEM source drivers. Acer has built in data control, you can override windows 10...maybe and replace just the drivers. How ever? being that the game never could run above standard Ugliness due to the systems hardware..it might not be capable of running this particular game Due to steam and the publishers requirements during setup...it needs to find a VGA port. So I am looking into it for you. kitty

Purr4me
My knowledge of laptops is limited. But then I never thought about this game looking for a VGA port#1 Standard thing in any Software installer or setup on any windows system, even Linux looks for it.Fomm will look for it. Fo3 will look for it. Fnv will look for it. Skyrim will look for it, etc..etc.. and so on.Basic Environment 1.rst on the list sought hardware compatibility checks. Not just laptops. Some games will absolutely refuse to install even IF the standard VGA is there but the graphics card does not meet basic requirements. Some things ask you to update things first before allowing an install. The fo3 Intel HD By Pass d3d9.dll is used to by pass graphics control for this aspect on those chip-sets even IF you have a titan card too !, it does matter that the hardware is there. Above link to the specs given states clearly, there is no VGA ports available.

Purr4me
The secret was in the first screen shot so provided, what is not ( n/a ) listed that you always seem to see when selecting them? Now, IF direct-x can not determine what display interface or monitor exists? how can the games, or steam programs detect one? Bad Monster_House /programming. On the publishers part due to one fact, this person can run other games with out issues so we are informed. so far, nothing I can find to Enhance the hybrid PC here.
