LordNyron
I'm basically just gonna rehash what's been said above. Skyrim Special Edition will include better textures and brand new shaders for things like water and snow. Basically its like an official Skyrim ENB with texture mods installed. However, what was shown in the E3 trailer seemed kind of small scale, and Bethesda has repeatedly said that they want to make Skyrim Remastered as next gen as possible, which means they're aiming to bring it up to Fallout 4's standards. Since we haven't seen the game at all since E3, not even screenshots, and we're supposedly getting a new trailer soon, I'd venture a guess that they're doing a lot more than what they showed at E3 and they want to show it in its finished form. So it'll likely have stuff like subsurface scattering, improved AI, increased polygon count where it makes sense, and better magic effects. We'll likely know soon what we're all getting, but it'll definitely make our mod count lower since some of the stuff that is typically modded into the game will be standard. On top of that it'll be DX11 and 64bit on PC, meaning that the game can now use more than 4GB of VRAM, so you can mod it to your hearts content so long as you have the VRAM to back it up. I think the mod count is still capped at 255 though. It'll also make the game far more stable with mods too, so not as much crashing or glitches. Boombro
IThey did show screen shots and there is a trailer. And no, not ai, it just visuals, with shaders and textures. Not meshes (not confirmed, not likely however..)
twiztedmongoloid
@Nephense13, Maybe you could try to be less triggered by someone asking a simple question, and refrain from responding at all if you're unwilling to answer. There's just no need for that. As far as I know this guy hasn't done anything to hurt you....why would you even do that? Are you ok? Is something wrong? Do you need someone to talk to? Reminds me of a mod author who frequently goes ballistic whenever someone chances to ask a question that was addressed in his/her 40,000-word description and FAQ. UGH. Ok, anyway, OP, AFAIK the full details have yet to be released, so expect some surprises. Because its super annoying when people lack the common sense to research things themselves. Type anything skyrim related into google and you will likely find whatever you want to know. Common sense just isnt so common. Thats why everyday threads of " OMG my game crashes every 5 mins HELP!!!" pop up. I dont help people who are too lazy or stupid to help themselves

I sometimes wonder if designers get a tingle out of revealing little bits and pieces of a new release, maybe a bit like a burlesque queen going through her routine...not a stripper mind you. There's a difference. BQ's alwaysleave us wanting more. Strippers just kinda let it all hang out.
Rayne72
Am holding off on returning to my modded Skyrim, waiting to see How this new version handles. I use Mod organizer which is not 64 bit yet, So MY mods will not transfer correctly over to the new skyrim unless MO gets updatedNot to mention i need 64bit skySExtender So honeslyI might be waiting for around 4 months after the Free remastered version pops up in my stream. enough time to let The modders update their stuff if its needed. Thing with me, am not willing to play skyrim unlesss my current modded version can be recreated on the 64bit version :D Mean time I will just play FAllout
Wouter445
without skse it would be a worthless update away. it's a key component for modding.so i supect it would take at least 6 months before people get remotely interested in the updated skyrim.
