daniel1911
Hello,So i installed fallout 4 on my D drive and my steam folder is in C with my ini files also in c dont know if thats causing issues, since you have to add these lines of code to the files and i did that but when i go ingame and nnm tells me all mods are installed, when i get into the game none of the mods are working. I tryed to spawn the m2216 rifle:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8807/?And it adds it but when i have it in my hands its invisible...tryed reinstalling the mod and didnt help. But that was only this one the others didnt work at all.And yes the esm files are loading in order before the esp files.Any idea what could cause this maby the ini files being on a different drive? Please let me know if you need more information i really want to get this to work. Here is a list of the mods im trying to use: https://postimg.org/image/sqamlsdd5/Thank you! bill8872
I have read many times that NMM does not work well if it is not on the same drive the game is on.
AGreatWeight
The gun you mention being invisible when you hold it sounds like the mesh and texture aren't being loaded correctly. As bil8872 said, its generally a good idea to keep NMM and Fallout4 on the same drive to minimize risks.First thing you should do is check to make sure that NMM is installing mods in the correct folder (i.e. check the filepaths in NMM settings to make sure that they correlate with the directories of Fallout4)Second thing that I'd recommend is installing L.O.O.T. and using that to make sure that your load order is correct, and not causing issues. Better safe than sorry. When you say that your Steam folder is on a different drive, do you mean your actual Steam install, or do you just mean the MyGames folder that stores your save files? tschutschi
I think I have the same "problem".I moved the Fallout folder to another drive to save space on the other, and NMM is still on the other drive. When I install a mod, i installs the esp, but almost nothing else.So to solve this, I install the mod with NMM, but after that I drop the whole archive again in the data folder. Probably a better way to solve that would be to reinstall everything new and on the same harddrive.
