breaking quests

Spent the last hour to clear some of my "broken" quests. Some remains for now:

• 
  No Stone Unturned
  
  • 
    Become a full Member of the Thieves Guild (I am their boss already)
    

Miscellaneous

• 
  Speak to the Jarl of Riften (he has nothing to say to me)
  Report Leifnarr's death to his family (no dialogue)
  Return to Esben (happens if you do not kill Paranaxx)

I have the same problem with the jarl of riften (she).

followed the riften quests pretty much to the letter so i could get the house.....but i still have it unfinished in quests.

I had that same quest brokens in my journal.

But since I load a previous save for the Keening dagger and the Leifnarr is in the same room as the courrier I wait for the quest to retrieve the dagger and before I go to the cave I go first to talk with Leifnarr's wife who is at Heartwood Mill, in the very west of Riften, (other side of the lake), and now I go to the cave and kill two rabbit with one shot (take the dagger and find Leifnarr) and the two quests advance. "note" you don't have to wait for the dagger quest only when you go to the cave don't loot the courrier, only search the nord body.

for the "No stone Unturned" you need to find all 24 stones and give them to Vex, then the quest advance and at the end when you retrieve a crown a give it to her too, that entry that to become a full member disappear.

for the "Return to Esbern " I don't know what to do too.

there is some console commands for advance with this broken quests:

 

If some one have the same problem: Quests Brokens at Bards College. If you pick up the instruments before the Bards give you the quests the quests be broken.

.....and you have in your journal the quests " Find Pantea's Flute " ; " Find Finn's Lute " ; " Find Rjorn's Drum "

You can advance on pc with console commands:

For the Flute : player.setsatge bardscollegeflute 40

For the Lute : player.setsatge bardscollegelute 40

For the Drum: player.setsatge bardscollegedrum 40

....And after that the quest are complete, but the items continue in your inventory and also can be removed by player.removeitem xxxxxxxx

and the codes are: 000daba7 for the flute ; 000dabab for the lute and 000daba9 for the drum.

 

For the quest " Return to the Jarls of Riften " :

this appens if you don't talk to the Jarl before going to the house after purchasing it. use console command :

player.setstage FreeformRiftenThane 200 . and this will complete the quest.

if you are now a Thane of Riften and off course you purchasing the house and you don't talk with Jarl before you go to the house the quest " Return to the Jarl of Riften " remains in your journal, you can advance with console : player.setstage FreeformRiftenThane 200.
