textures question

Hi I am new to mod installs and was wondering, when you download a texture pack do I put it in a folder called textures in the data folder or do I take in out of the texture folder and put it in the data file where the skyrim- textures.bsa is located? In the data folder there is 3 folders there , interface, strings, video.

That depends on how the author packed the files.

It should look like

 

Skyrim/data/textures/ Textures goes here

[CampanaAliquanta]

put it in the data file inside the textures folder. The path should be:

 

Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/textures/ then whichever textures you wish to replace
