gurtpfrobe
I want to apologize if this is in the wrong spot of if it has already been answered. I have been using NMM for awhile now and have never received this problem. Recently this pops up even for mods that have been in the mod manager as well as new mods that I've downloaded. I looked up the link in the popup and it seemed like other people had posted about it from August to September but I couldn't find an answer. I've tried googling the problem and tried browsing the forums here on the site but haven't seen anything about it. I would really appreciate any help with this so I can start playing Fallout 4 with mods again.
bill8872
I have read some have issues with 7zip, and NMM. I think it depends on the zip program they use.I have been using winRAR for what seems forever, and never had a issue with any type in zip file. Or is it because the mod creators used 7zip?
bill8872
If I recall correctly the issue is due to NMM, and how it handles zip files. Not 7zip it's self. You can check Nexus bug forum to see how 7zip users work around it. Or change to winRAR.

There's no reason to change to WinRAR, in fact that causes more issues than 7-zip.This bug has absolutely nothing to do with 7-zip or what program you have installed, it's simply the library that the code of NMM uses, or some other issue.
