Ghostrider231
I've been asking the same thing! My Original reply from the one of the other threads: Not being able to hold block always bugged me, which is why I've never bothered using melee. Although, i think something like this may require editing the MeleeBehavior.hkx (i forgot to mention adding the new animations with that.) that controls the player's melee animations. Unfortunately, i don't know crap on how to make animations. :wallbash: If this actually happens, this could encourage more melee builds. Although from i've heard, Animation modding just started becoming a thing. Although as far i've looked into the ck... If you go to Gameplay > Animations, You'll see a tab called: MeleeBehavior.hkx (for both first and third person.)Looking closer into MeleeBehavior.hkx, you'll see "leftmouseattackhold" and "leftmouseattackrelease". (The Name may be wrong, but it's there.) But oddly enough, it seems that there was gonna be a hold block/constant block. Instead of what we have now. (If you look at "leftmouseattackrelease", you can see that it shows an event with no animations defined. Presumably it was cut from the game?) Even more oddly enough, i actually tried to add hold block into the game, but it didn't work. However, editing the, "leftmouseattackrelease" oddly works... (And no i still get the 1.5 second animation.) Also, i think the image space is just a visual effect. Shame, i wanted to play this game tes style in a fallout setting. From what i know, i think this could be possible. (Although as of now, i don't see any mentions about editing those behavior files. You can replace the animation itself with a longer one though. There was one mod that did that. Deflect bullets? That's the closet you could get without editing the behavior file.) Ghostrider231
Well, those requests did ask the same thing, so the others were bothered by the timed block also. Just gotta hope it (Hold Block Mod) happens. And if it does, i will download that mod in the next second. Playing TES Style in a fallout setting.
