colossus7777
hello world,Im on my 4th PC in 3 months due to people sending me faulty ones, and have built a new one so I had to get FO3 again from steam, for what must be the 8th time anyway, I know theres tonnes of threads on this on google, but none of them are giving me the answer I need so Im hoping people can help naturally bethesda have outdone themselves as usual, and charge you money for a games, that then crashes the second I launch it, well done, good customer service, the fact they rush off to fix this is even better I had this problem on one of my old PCs, and the solution was editing 1 value in the INI file fixed it, I cannot remember what value it was though. Any help? I dont want to install and DLLs when I can just edit the vanilla game without it thinking I am running an nvidia 7900 secondly do I need to turn windows features on/off? which ones? I have Microsoft net 3.5 on this PC....will this hinder things? Lastly, friend of mine had this problem too, the game recommended settings are low? LOW?! what is this about? I havei7 2700k8 gb corsair 1866MSI 6850 cyclonegigabyte z68 ud5 also windows 7 64 bit home premium this is no less a computer than it is a God, what is fallouts problem? This will run any currently released game on highest settings, please helpmuch appreciated EDIT: FOR SOME REASON PROBLEM SOLVES ITSELF, I DELETED THE INI FILES, NOTHING HAPPENED, SO I DELETED MORE FILES IN HOPE STEAM WOULD RE DOWNLOAD THEM, STILL NOTHING, SO I DELTED THE GAME N REDOANLOADED IT, AND IT RUNS. THO I STILL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY MY PC KEEPS RECOMMENDING ME FOR "LO" SETTINGS IF ANYONE KNOWS THANKS Edited December 8, 2011 by colossus7777
