Artificial Lights?

I think I have asked the same question here, but my memory doesn't serve me right...

Awrite, on to the Q's:

As a screenshooter, I use lighting techniques to set the atmosphere right. Usually, I use the Illumination Staff from Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Due to the physical appearance of the staff, some shots are.. well.. interrupted. Much like "This is a good shot but, is this your reflective light shield here?"

So, something I would like to ask is:

Is there any artificial light source, other than the Illumination Staff and torch, which:

- small in size

- produce constant stream of light (the Illumination Staff is fluctuating, it goes dim and bright periodically)

- and has many light color variation ?

Thanks in advance :thanks:

Lights can be any size. They can even be without any visible portion. The problem though is that as far as I know, the only place where a light source may be equipped to the player is in the torch slot. This means that if you have nothing visible, you'll still have your arm bent as if you're holding something. What you might want to try instead is setting up a series of persistant referenced lights in the CS, and creating some spells which move them to where you are and adjusts the height. You could then add light to a space to take your screenshots without having anything held or in frame.

Ah yes, I forgot to put another info here ^^;

Usually, I drop the staff to the ground, use the TCL, and use the getpos <x/y/z> and setpos <x/y/z> to place the staff on an uninterrupted coordinate.

So... my character has nothing in her left arm (as if she is holding the torch :D )

I recall there is a mod which gives the player illuminating magic balls ( no no no, not Varla stones ).

The magic balls are small and... round :P Thus, I can shrink them to small size without losing their ability to produce constant colorful ray.

( I can change the magic ball mesh to ring, thus making the light source smaller but still easy to manage )
