alphaskull
sups.. i was wondering if companion armor really matters. like between having her wear a light or heavy and if theres a difference in how much dmg she takes depending on what she's wearing. Vangarrett99
It doesn't really matter to me.My follower's role is that of a 'decoy' drawing my foes' attention whilst I pick them off with arrows, spells and sneak attacks.Usually it was more than she can handle, and it is only a matter of time before she drops to her knees.Being 'Unkillable' while she is in the 'yield position' (drop all aggro), it doesn't really matter what kinda armour she wears, no? On the other hand, I crafted a set of daeric armour for her and observed that she could actually last longer with the extra protection afforded by the armour. So I suppose it does help when you give uber equips to your follower...
jy02521671
armor mattters, as more armor rating gives her more defence. on the other hand light armor gives better sneak heavy armor aggros enemy even from afar. if you a worrier, it doesnt make much difference, if you a stealthy, make sure your companion has light armor or she tells everyone where you are.another thing is, most companions have a prefered armor type, lydia perfers heavy, so if you give her steel armor she will wear it immediately whereas if you give her leather armor, she will not wear it (unless it is better than her default iron armor).the ultimate dilemma is what if, you a stealthy and she perfers heavy. solution, enchant her boots with muffle
