Installing mod manager in a different location

I was given a custom-built PC as a graduation gift, which is f***ing amazing. The problem I have with it though is that my C drive has hardly any space by default. What it does have, however, is an E drive with 931 GB of available space to use as one normally would use a C drive.

Given that this is the case, I want to install the mod manager there instead of its default path. Because I've never used the manager before now, I don't know how this will affect how well the manager will work. I'm not nearly as tech-savvy as I'd like to be, otherwise I'd figure it out myself.

So how (if at all) will installing the mod manager on my E drive affect how the manager functions?

-------Explanation-----

Your small C drive is most likely a solid state drive (SSD), which is very fast. You probably have your operating system (OS) installed there but you can also install stuff you really want to process quickly here, such as your browser - but don't install and uninstall too much because SSD drives will become useless if you do, so make sure you want whatever it is stored on your SSD before you place it there hopefully forever. The larger drive, your hard disk drive (HDD), is what you're supposed to use for storage and installing things such as games.

------Answer------

It's fine, I also have a setup of a SSD and HDD, with my OS on the SSD and Nexus Mod Manager along with all my games on the HDD. If you to want you can store them separately, but this would require a lot of difficult work, I would say its for the more advanced users. I don't think it yields any gains either but if you wish to read up on symbolic links, nicknamed symlinks, you are free to do so.

-----Short answer----

It doesn't matter which drive you install NMM on, as long as you have your games on the same drive (or link them trough the use of symlinks).
