WinterBorn1993 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Hi everyone, I was really hoping to get some help today. I have been having serious problems with my Nexus Mod Manager lately. Basically, whenever I start up Skyrim in the mod manager, it tells me it cannot locate my mod files in the mod folder C: games\nexus mod manager\skyrim\mods and tells me I need to specify where my mods are located. My mods are actually located on my D: drive because my C is only a 128gig ssd. So I specify the right folder on the D drive and click ok, but then the error message pops up again and says the exact same thing. It seems as though regardless of what folder I specify to look in for my mods, the manager keeps looking in the C:drive. I don't want to keep my mods in the C drive because it will quickly fill up... Even skyrim itself is installed on my D drive. I have reinstalled mod manager a few times with no luck. Basically I can either choose to uninstall and reinstall all of my mods every time I want to play, or give up. Help???
nexus763 Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Probably out of subject but :I was reluctant to leave NMM until the new version just straight up erased my mods list. So I said *f--- it* and watched a couple a videos on how to install Mod Organizer. And I can never go back now. The power of MO is just too useful for modding Skyrim. Whatever you use : merger, patcher, tes5edit, creation kit, fnis, wrybash etc... TL;DR Use Mod Organizer
